Review: Infinity Pool is a film that pushes boundaries, both visually and thematically. Like Cronenberg’s previous work, Possessor, this movie is not for the faint of heart. It explores the dark, twisted side of human nature, and the extremes that we are capable of when pushed to our limits. The film is a fascinating exploration of anarchy and hedonism, and the desire to break free from the constraints of society. Mia Goth's portrayal of Gabi is one of the film's standout performances. She captures the enigmatic nature of the character perfectly, creating a sense of intrigue and mystery that keeps the viewer engaged throughout. The film's visual style is also worth mentioning; it's a psychedelic investigation into the themes of the story, with intense montage sequences. Enduring these moments feels like a transformative experience in itself and one that ensures that viewers are left pondering the film long after it ends.
