Synopsis: The Iron Claw delves into the tragic story of the Von Erich wrestling family. Led by the patriarch Fritz Von Erich (Holt McAllanay), the film follows his five sons – Jack Jr., Kevin (Zac Efron), David (Harris Dickinson), Kerry (Jeremy Allen White) and Mike (Stanley Simmons) – as they navigate the highs and lows of their wrestling careers amid the looming "Von Erich curse".

Review: The Iron Claw is an emotional journey into the world of American professional wrestling, anchored by exceptional performances from Holt McAllanay and Zac Efron. Both leads deliver standout performances that capture the depth of their characters' struggles and dogged passion for the sport. The family drama starts slowly, building the foundation for the Von Erich family's life, before rolling out with continuous devastation in the film's second and third acts. The authenticity of the wrestling sequences and the attention to detail in the costuming and set design make The Iron Claw perhaps the best on-screen portrayal of professional wrestling. To those non-wrestling fans, the sincerity with which director Sean Durkin captures the wrestling bouts might seem ridiculous or exaggerated. However, ultimately the physical presence of its leads, namely Efron and Jeremy Allen White (David Von Erich), encapsulate the very real stakes at play, both inside and outside of the ring.
