White begins to uncover a chilling conspiracy leading back to Mollie's husband Ernest (Leonardo Dicaprio) and his supposedly well-intentioned uncle William “King” Hale (Robert DeNiro).

Review: Led by powerful performances from Lily Gladstone and Leonardo Dicaprio, Killers of The Flower Moon truly immerses audiences into 1920s Oklahoma and the mysterious murders of members of the Osage Nation. Gladstone is magnificent as Mollie Burkhart, an Osage woman whose family becomes a target; her emotional depth and nuance captures her tribulations with great humanity. Meanwhile, Dicaprio disappears into his role as Molly’s husband, Ernest Burkhart. His face marred with a scowl for much of his screen time, he and his uncle, King Hale, embody the passive ignorance and greed of North American colonialism. Visually stunning, the film's costume design feels authentic without being overly conventional, and the meticulous attention to detail stands out with each scene. While disturbing at times, Scorsese shines a necessary light on an unsettling piece of American history. With Gladstone and Dicaprio at the helm, this epic is a powerful requiem for the dead.
